Merger of Ashton View Medical Centre/Conway Medical Centre

Following on from our recent engagement process we have now received approval from the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board to merge. This will be effective from 1 April 2026.

What happens next

All patients registered at Conway Medical Centre will remain registered here.  All patients registered at Ashton View Medical Centre will automatically be transferred to Conway Medical Centre. You do not need to do anything.

You will be able to see a health care professional at either site, as appropriate, while the Conway Medical Centre building is reconfigured. When the Conway site is ready, the Ashton View site will close. You will be kept informed about the progress of these changes.

Housebound patients 

Patients on our housebound register and those who are clinically too ill to attend surgery or who become housebound will be visited in their own home.

Please be assured that we are committed to continue providing high quality care for our patients. We have listened to concerns raised during the engagement period and we will continue to engage with patients and address any ongoing concerns.
