Travel Information

Our Practice Nurses are able to offer pre-travel advice before you go abroad, including advise on;
– Details of immunizations
– Malaria Prevention
– Infection Risks
Please ensure you contact the surgery at least six weeks before your planned trip. Unfortunately, we may not be able to help you if we are given too little notice, as some inoculations take time to become effective

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements such as,  which countries and areas within the countries that you are visiting to determine which vaccinations may be required.

You can find out more information about countries and vaccinations required by vising the fit for travel website.
